Our Services

Community Awareness

DAN holds monthly awareness meetings at the Peoria Library – North Branch location. These meetings are interactive and are intended to educate the community. Click to find out more!

Advocacy Support

DAN offers support services intended to enable teachers, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends of students with dyslexia to be strong advocates. Click to find out more!

Tutoring Training

We facilitate and deliver Orton-Gillingham Tutor Training, a language-based instructional program that is multi-sensory, structured, sequential, and cumulative program in a year-long class. Click to find out more!

What is DAN?

The Dyslexia Awareness Network (DAN) is a not-for-profit corporation, started in January 2014 by staff of the former Children’s Dyslexia Center of Illinois.
